The begining
Founded by Mr. Javer B. Rathod, Parshwa Buildtech is a third-generation family-run business. Our business dates back to the early 1960s. Our first store was inaugurated under the name ARTWOOD. It was the first plywood store in Pune city. ARTWOOD later on changed to North East Distributors Pvt Ltd. We were also the ones to introduce German hardware in Pune.
Over the past years, we have introduced many products that are widely being used in the furniture & construction industry.
As a company we have achieved many benchmarks.

In 1963, our founder Shri. Babulal S. Rathod came to Pune to begin his career as an accountant.
His passion for business led him to open one of the first wood shops in Pune!
The year that we revolutionized the furniture industry in Pune was when Pune got its first plywood store called ART WOOD in old Pune (Nana Peth).
Particle Board was introduced in Pune as another product for the furniture industry.
We started to distribute laminates by NEOLUX and introduced pre-laminated particle boards in Pune during this year.
The year 1998 marked the foundation of NORTH EAST DISTRIBUTORS PVT LTD. We also began the AVNI plywood brand that we had scaled across Maharashtra.
- In this year, we brought in German hardware (HETTICH) to Pune.
In Pune, we introduced two top brands of the furniture industry (HAFELE & BLUM).
The first design studio of HAFELE & BLUM in India has been inaugurated!
We opened a high-end luxury lighting studio under the brand name PROLEDS.
Our first year of importing plywood from Russia (Russian Birch Plywood).
Founded PARSHWA BUILDTECH LLP and began distributing Dormakaba, another famous German hardware brand.
In India, North East Distributors becomes the largest importer of Birch Plywood.
